Ms. Dugoniths regularly provides analysis and counseling on first party and third party coverage issues as well as bad faith and extra-contractual liability and the interrelated contractual obligations for indemnity and insurance. Her experience includes issues involving commercial property, business income and extra expense, builder’s risk, inland marine and commercial general liability policies as well as many different types of marine liability and property policies. Having worked in the marine industry prior to starting her career as a lawyer, Ms. Dugoniths possesses a unique understanding of marine risks. She also enjoys a national practice, having assisted clients with coverage advice and/or litigation in the state and federal courts of over twenty-three states, and the Court of Appeals for the Second, Fourth, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
As vice chair of the ABA’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, she frequently presents on topics related to insurance coverage at their midyear meetings. She is also a contributing author of “The Reference Handbook on the Comprehensive General Liability Policy.”
